Bank statements
Last 6 months showing consistent balance — readily available, not borrowed
GIC (Study only)
Guaranteed Investment Certificate from a participating Canadian bank — required for the SDS stream
Letter of employment + pay stubs
Proof of regular income to sustain funds
Investment / mutual fund statements
Stocks, bonds, fixed deposits — must show holder's name & balance
Property valuation (rare)
Real estate is generally NOT accepted by IRCC for proof of funds
